About My Clients

I work with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, or difficulty managing life stressors. Oftentimes, they are experiencing change (a move, end/start of a relationship, new job, becoming a parent) or lack thereof. They tend to be sensitive and hard on themselves. I also work with mothers in all stages of parenthood from pregnancy and beyond. I welcome those who want to explore their faith journey or individuals who have been wounded by the Church and want to process their experience.

My Background and Approach

I believe in the healing power of a therapeutic relationship where you can be the real you. No judgment or criticism here. Maybe you want to break free from unhealthy patterns, work through issues that have been swept under the rug, or find wholeness. Perhaps life isn't going quite the way you'd hoped or expected. Maybe you long to be secure in who you are and embrace all parts of yourself, to move away from self-criticism and toward self-compassion. My approach is feminist and relational, and clients describe me as authentic, warm, and engaging. I have a special interest and advanced training in perinatal mental health, and I provide tailored support for the unique challenges of parenthood.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am an LGBTQ+ affirming provider, and I strive to make the therapy space welcoming and inclusive. I am committed to being anti-racist and am mindful of my straight cis privilege.
