About My Clients
I specialize in anxiety and mood regulation. I utilize mindfulness to take a balanced approach to our lies and find a middle option between the far extremes we often find ourselves taking. I help find fulfillment in life, and look to get you out of that "stuck" feeling. I also work with couples, using the Gottman approach. Looking to build unity and hear the communication underneath the conflict, I help couples find a constructive way to keep their relationship vital and healthy.
My Background and Approach
I was trained in an Adlerian approach, but join that with mindfulness and some CBT skills. I approach the person first to find what interventions they respond to. I am warm and comforting, and keep the therapy office and safe place for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that emotional regulation is at the heart of all of our dysfunction, and finding ways to stay balanced and centered lead to a lasting sense of calm. Our culture pushes us to a place of high intensity and pushes the responsibility on us to have proper boundaries and self care.
