My Background and Approach
I work to bring the mind, body, emotions, and spirit into balance so that clients can enjoy life to the fullest and escape dysfunctional behaviors. I facilitate the connection to one's innate qualities through movement therapy, art, and music. My therapy style is based on Jungian philosophy. Through this, I help clients become more self-aware and capable of transforming their previous trauma into resilience and completeness. In my work, I also incorporate a variety of evidence-based methods, such as mindfulness exercises, CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.

Incorporating my Egyptian-American heritage and the vibrant backdrop of NYC, I believe that each of us, in our unique journey, deserves a chance to thrive and find happiness. Drawing from my diverse background, I'm convinced that understanding and embracing our own cultural heritage is a powerful catalyst for personal growth and self-acceptance. I see the beauty in our differences and the strength in our individual stories. I provide mental health support and counseling services, drawing from my diverse background as a musician and therapist. I utilize various techniques, including trauma-informed therapy, mindfulness, and creative approaches to help individuals overcome challenges like depression, anxiety, body image issues, and affirming their LGBT identity. In my counseling practice, I aim to create a safe space where you can explore your own beliefs, values, and heritage to forge a path towards a more fulfilling life.
