About My Clients

If you've ever felt like you have to translate parts of yourself to be understood, this is a space where you don't have to. I work with adults and couples carrying more than they let on—South Asian women navigating cultural and family weight, partners ready for real relational repair, and neurodivergent adults tired of masking. My clients are often the "strong ones" quietly holding grief, anxiety, identity questions, or relational trauma. You don't have to arrive with it figured out.

My Background and Approach

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with training as a psychometrician, having administered neuropsychological assessments for ADHD and Autism. That assessment background sharpens how I see clients—helping you understand not just your inner world, but your neurocognitive profile and how your brain actually works. I draw on Narrative Therapy, DBT-informed interventions, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic practices. Together, we'll explore the story you've been living inside, look at the roles you've played and the characters who shaped you, and consider which patterns are ready to shift. This approach helps you reclaim authorship—rewriting limiting narratives and building real emotional regulation skills you can use outside the room. As a South Asian woman, I bring lived understanding to cultural identity, generational dynamics, and faith. For clients who want it, I also offer faith-based counseling that integrates psychological insight with Christian reflection.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing happens in relationship—with ourselves, with the people we love, and with the cultures and communities that shaped us. My work is informed by anti-oppressive and culturally responsive values. I show up affirming of BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent clients, and I'm committed to therapy that doesn't ask anyone to leave parts of themselves at the door. I'm a South Asian woman, and I think a lot about how faith, culture, and mental health intersect—especially in communities where these conversations have historically been quiet. I've written and spoken publicly on attachment and faith, and I'm passionate about making mental health care feel accessible, warm, and real. I also work with clients who are unpacking religious trauma and deconstructing harmful evangelical systems. Faith can be a source of profound meaning, and it can also cause deep harm. I hold space for both—without judgment, and at the pace that feels right to you.
