About My Clients
I specialize in anxiety disorders, gender exploration, grief, sexual orientation, mood disorders, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. I am enthusiastic about bringing the outside world into the therapy space. I aim to provide clients with an affirming space to process, be their most authentic self, and set realistic goals. I believe clients have within them what they need to achieve success in their lives, sometimes we just need help.
My Background and Approach
My work focuses on managing emotional intensity while helping clients learn to understand and build tolerance for the distress that arises in our daily lives, especially when experiencing mental health concerns. Using DBT, CBT, and a little TLC, I help clients explore and accept their feelings while addressing unhelpful thought patterns. I am passionate about helping clients feel seen and heard while championing growth and autonomy by standing in my clients’ corners.
