Beginning therapy and putting your struggles into someone else's hands can be scary. I am here to meet you where you are in your healing journey, and help you move through the therapeutic process at your own pace. Therapy looks different for everyone, and I work to ensure we find the version of therapy that will suit you.
My Background and Approach
I am a trauma-informed, Licensed Social Worker who takes a flexible, strengths-based, and solution focused approach with clients. I work to build rapport and establish a genuine connection to make sessions as comfortable and casual as possible. With a special interest in working with teens and young adults, I pull therapeutic techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. My clinical experience extends to working with individuals and families experiencing relationship issues, interpersonal violence, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I completed my Bachelors of Social Work at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and my Masters at the University of Illinois Chicago.
