About My Clients
I have a passion for working with clients needing support around addiction, alcoholism, eating disorders and codependency. I offer long term process groups to further explore areas of support, communication patterns and boundaries. I am dedicated to helping my clients strengthen their voice by working together to find and refine the truth and further launch into the recovery process.
My Background and Approach
With an MSW from Loyola University Chicago, Anne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor with experience in treatment centers, outpatient programs, and adventure therapy settings. Having grown up in rural New Hampshire she appreciates the impact of nature and adventure on mental health.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Change is possible and hope can be found. I became a therapist because I believe no one should stay feeling stuck, whether it’s in a relationship, family situation, substance abuse, or disordered eating. Through my own personal recovery process, I understand that hopelessness is not permanent. With a background working in Adventure Therapy, I believe nature can provide a sense of perspective, increase awareness, and bring a sense of calm. I am dedicated to helping clients strengthen their voice by working together to find and refine the truth and further launch into the recovery process. You are not alone, whether indoors or outdoors, we can explore the opportunities to find a sense of freedom and live a more abundant life.
