About My Clients
I offer individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults in a warm, inclusive space where clients feel seen and supported. My experience includes working with grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and multicultural identity concerns. I strive to build a trusting, collaborative relationship where healing and growth can happen. Whether you're navigating change or seeking deeper self-understanding, I’m here to support you.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. I completed my clinical training at InnerVoice, where I transitioned into a full-time therapist role and have been with the practice since 2023. I also interned at the Counseling Center of Illinois, where I led group sessions and conducted evaluations for court-appointed substance use, DUI, and domestic violence cases. In addition, I worked as a research assistant with Dr. Katie Atkins, focusing on grief and bereavement. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I incorporate mind-body awareness into my work and strive to create a culturally responsive and trauma-informed space. I often use creative interventions in therapy—particularly with children and adolescents—including play therapy to support emotional expression and healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy extends beyond traditional talk therapy. It can take many forms—art, movement, writing—whatever helps you connect, express, and heal. As long as it supports your growth and well-being, it’s valid. Through my own experience as a client in therapy, I’ve learned that meaningful change often begins when we feel safe enough to explore in ways that resonate most with us.
