About My Clients
Do you feel anxiety suddenly hits—racing heart, tight chest, overwhelming fear? You’re not alone, and it can get better. I work best with adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship and identity concerns, and women’s issues. I also support clients experiencing immigration and acculturation stress and provide LGBTQ+ affirming, culturally responsive, trauma-informed care where each person’s identity and lived experience are honored.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with experience working in private practice, community mental health, hospital settings, and advocacy programs. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples from diverse cultural backgrounds, providing support for anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, women's issues, and identity development. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I draw from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients build coping skills, navigate challenges, improve relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. As a bilingual therapist, I provide services in both English and Spanish and strive to create a culturally responsive and affirming environment. My goal is to help clients feel understood
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate, affirming, and culturally responsive mental health care. As a bilingual therapist, I am passionate about supporting individuals and families from diverse backgrounds and creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and respected. I value authenticity, connection, and the importance of honoring each person's unique story and identity. I am committed to providing an inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ individuals, immigrants, and those navigating cultural, family, and life transitions. My work is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration, and I strive to meet clients where they are without judgment. I believe healing happens through meaningful relationships, self-compassion, and the courage to embrace growth. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, supported, and equipped to build lives that align with their values and goals.
