About My Clients
I currently work with adult individuals and is interested in working with couples and older adults. My passion lies in understanding the whole person and helping them to understand themselves. I value mindfulness practices, authenticity, and the power of emotions, and works to integrate these into the therapy space. I hold the belief that everyone has the power to learn from themselves, to heal and grow, and my role is to work as a guide and witness to that process.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy at Illinois State University. I am currently a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counselor Program at Northwestern University, working towards my Master of Arts in Counseling to eventually become a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I practice through a psychodynamic and attachment lens of understanding, paired with a person-centered approach to learn about a person’s unique experience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Our stories and experiences have a powerful impact on us. How we learn and make meaning of these experiences and how we choose to define ourselves have even more power. My hope is to offer guidance, tools, and unconditional care and support to hear you and work together to meet your goals so that you can live an empowered and meaningful life as your genuine authentic self.
