About My Clients
I work best with clients who want to make lasting changes in their lives. Together we find hope and strength to develop skills that enable my clients to find a sense of wellness in their lives. Often my clients are struggling with intense emotions from trauma, grief, chronic pain, depression, anxiety); together we identify the patterns of these emotions and learn adaptive coping strategies to manage these emotions.
My Background and Approach
I have conducted individual, family, and group therapy with adults, adolescents, and children at private practices, veteran’s hospitals, in- and out-patient psychiatric hospitals, schools, jails, prisons and university clinics.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
While my curiosity about the human experience initially motivated me to pursue psychology, my clients continuously inspire me with their courage to change their lives. My goal as a psychologist is to help my clients develop and strengthen their coping skills to make this change possible. To assist my clients’ growth, I use a compassionate collaborative approach utilizing responsivity, flexibility, and humility.
