I work with teens and adults on issues including anxiety, depression, sexual and relationship trauma, gender and sexual identity, and body image/disordered eating. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed with negative emotions, overcome with anxiety, feeling cut off from others, questioning your identity, or struggling to feel at home in your body, I see you. Together, we can work to understand how things have come to be the way they are and to find a new way forward.
My Background and Approach
As your therapist, I will help you identify the strengths and resources you already have (you have them, I promise) and to learn new skills and strategies. We will unravel the stories you carry from past hurts in order to move toward a life worth living, with calmer days, better relationships, and feeling good in your body. I am trained in a number of evidenced based therapeutic interventions and approaches and will work collaboratively with you to decide what approach is the best fit for your needs.
