I work with couples and individuals to overcome life's challenges including people of all cultural and religious backgrounds. I especially enjoy working with individuals to overcome religious and spiritual trauma, childhood and family trauma, and cultural adjustment issues.
My Background and Approach
I take a psychodynamic, trauma informed approach to therapy that includes exploring life experiences, the meaning we assign to those experiences, and integration of trauma all while building healthy, practical skills to improve daily life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing and growth is the best gift someone can give themselves, and that, while doing the inner work of therapy can be a hard internal process, the benefits of integrating our traumas, identifying our challenges, and working toward a goal of a more integrated and informed life brings peace and meaning to our day to day lives.
