About My Clients
Every child deserves to feel understood, especially during life's most challenging moments. I work with children, adolescents, and their families who are navigating anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, trauma, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where children can build confidence, express themselves authentically, and develop the skills they need to thrive. I also partner closely with parents along the way.
My Background and Approach
I believe that lasting change begins with understanding. Rather than focusing only on behaviors, I work to understand the emotions, experiences, and unmet needs that may be driving them. By seeing the world through the eyes of the child, I help children feel safe, connected, and empowered to grow. My approach is relationship-centered, developmentally appropriate, and grounded in evidence-based practices including play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), attachment-based interventions, and trauma-informed care. I believe therapy is most effective when children and caregivers work together, so I collaborate closely with families to build practical strategies that support emotional regulation, resilience, and stronger relationships at home, school, and in everyday life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every child has unique strengths that deserve to be recognized and nurtured. Children are doing the best they can with the skills they have, and when they struggle, it's an opportunity for us to become curious rather than critical. I value empathy, authenticity, inclusion, and collaboration, and I strive to create a welcoming space where children and families feel respected, supported, and hopeful about the future.
