Traumatic events from the past are holding you back from the relationships, career, and life you want today. Even though you’re good at hiding it, keeping everything inside is a heavy burden that inevitably overflows, negatively affecting you and the people you love. My Background and Approach
I work with young professionals whose trauma has left them feeling hopeless, trapped, empty, anxious, and alone. The theme of my practice is to listen well with empathy, compassion, and radical acceptance. My way of being is to hold space for you and whatever you are bringing to our time together. My practice is also deeply informed through Internal Family Systems (IFS), through which we’ll discover your inner world of parts in need of healing. You may have parts of yourself that you hate, are afraid of, anxious about, or wish would go away. Together we will meet these parts and form a relationship with them in order for your to feel relief from their grip. Relief from this burden is a possibility, and even more so, moving towards a better life can be your reality. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My way of being is rooted in empathy, compassion, and radical acceptance. Empathy being the felt sense of another person's experience, compassion the repeated process of this, and radical acceptance as the belief that everyone is doing the very best that they can with the resources that they have, including you. It is through these core beliefs and my work with Internal Family Systems (IFS) that I have come to realize that people are not broken and do not need to be fixed.
