About My Clients
My ideal clients are children, teens, and adults who may be struggling with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges and are ready for support—even if they’re not yet sure what they need. I work with children experiencing difficulties with focus, emotions, or behavior; teens navigating stress, identity, and overwhelming feelings; and adults managing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or mood changes. My Background and Approach
My background as a board‑certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is rooted in a deep commitment to providing accessible, culturally aware mental‑health care for individuals and families. I’ve worked with children, teens, and adults facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric challenges. These experiences have shaped a practice style that is warm, patient‑centered, and grounded in evidence‑based care. My approach is collaborative and human. I take time to understand each person’s story, strengths, and struggles so we can create a treatment plan that feels supportive and realistic. Whether I’m helping a child manage big emotions, guiding a teen through stress or identity challenges, or supporting an adult through anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or mood concerns, I focus on clarity, compassion, and shared decision‑making.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that mental‑health care works best when people feel genuinely seen and respected. Every person carries a unique story shaped by culture, family, identity, and lived experience, and I approach each client with curiosity, compassion, and an open mind. I don’t believe in one‑size‑fits‑all treatment — healing looks different for everyone, and my role is to help you discover what works for you or your child. I see medication as one tool among many, and I value collaboration, honesty, and shared decision‑making. I believe people thrive when they feel safe, supported, and empowered to take an active role in their care. Above all, I believe change is possible, and that with the right support, everyone has the capacity to move toward greater stability, confidence, and well‑being.
