About My Clients
I work with teens and adults who struggle with mood disorders, neurodiversity issues, self-confidence, mind-body connection, and somatic dysregulation. To best serve my clients, I combine traditional talk therapy with active and experiential interventions. This could include activities like hiking, rock climbing, meditation/mindfulness, yoga, etc.
My Background and Approach
My approach incorporates movement and somatic counseling techniques in order to assist clients in drawing connections between their struggles and somatic issues they experience. It facilitates a stronger mind-body connection and helps move clients towards a greater sense of self. Great for those who have struggled with more traditional styles of therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the most important aspect of counseling is pairing each client with the possible counselor for that individual. The therapeutic alliance is often the biggest predictor of outcomes in therapy, and for this reason I offer free 30-minute consultations. Feel free to come find out if we are a good fit today!
