We've been taught and praised for taking up as little space as possible both figuratively and literally. Reclaiming our voice means learning how to take up space for ourselves, for our families, and for our communities.

Struggling with depression can make it incredibly challenging to interact, engage, and show up in your world in ways that are meaningful. Unmet mental and emotional needs can make it seem like nobody sees, hears, or understands you which often exacerbates the feelings of loneliness and isolation. Experiencing freedom from depression often involves challenging and reframing long standing patterns of thoughts and behaviors that have only kept you in cycles of self-limiting actions with yourself.
