About My Clients
I am a strengths-based therapist that draws on a variety of therapy approaches that are evidenced-based and primarily skill oriented . I take a non-judgmental and collaborative approach to supporting people to address a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, addictions, trauma, anger issues, men's issues, relationship challenges, grief, and life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I have over 15 years of clinical experience in a variety of different settings. I take an active and engaged approach to therapy. I believe the relationship between myself and my clients is foundational to our successful work together. I seek to blend my therapeutic expertise and your expertise in your own life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a clinical social worker, social justice is a core value of mine and is part of my clinical work with patients. I actively seek to support and serve under-served people and communities. For instance, I incorporate best practices including Cultural Humility and have participated in continuing education to become an Anti-Racist Mental Health Provider.
