About My Clients
I have experience in working at Community-Based outpatient clinics providing individual and group counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I also have worked with the LGBTQ+ community, families, and survivors of abuse. I am a culturally sensitive therapist who acts as an ally and advocate for my clients. My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, interpersonal conflict, stress management, and life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Foresight. I received my Master of Science in Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Chico. I approach therapy from a person-centered, trauma-informed and humanistic perspective. I value each person's individuality and offer a safe and non-judgmental space for growth and healing. I am passionate about helping others and meet my clients where they are. My hope is to guide my clients through the therapeutic process with compassion, focusing on their strengths and support systems. I look forward to working alongside you to help you reach your goals through adaptive coping skills/strategies, problem solving skills, mindfulness tools, reframing negative thinking, and shifting maladaptive patterns that no longer serve a purpose. It takes courage to reach out for help when we are struggling. You are not alone.
