About My Clients
Many of the people I work with have experienced anxiety for years and are ready to understand it more deeply. They may be navigating work stress, relationships, life transitions, or long-standing patterns that no longer feel sustainable. Often, they've been in therapy before and are looking for a slower, more reflective process - one that supports insight, emotional regulation, and meaningful change over time.
My Background and Approach
My work is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, with an emphasis on thoughtful pacing and collaboration. Together, we explore how thoughts, emotions and behaviors interact, while also paying attention to the deeper patterns that shape anxiety over time. CBT offers practical tools for managing anxious thinking and emotional overwhelm, while motivational interviewing helps clarify what supports real, sustainable change. In sessions, I aim to create a calm, grounded space where insight can develop naturally. Therapy is not rushed or prescriptive; instead, we work together to build understanding, resilience, and steadiness over time.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe meaningful change happens when people feel understood, not pushed. Therapy works best when there is space to slow down, reflect and make sense of what's been carried for a long time. I value curiosity, compassion and honesty in the therapeutic relationship, and I approach this work with respect for each person's pace. Outside of the therapy room, I value simplicity, time with family, and practices that support balance and presence. These values inform how I work - grounded, steady, and attentive to the realities of daily life.
