About My Clients
My clients are busy, driven adults who feel "stuck" in their relationships and careers, and disconnected from themselves and others who matter most to them. Many report experiencing anxiety in various forms, imposter syndrome, excessive worry, and burnout. I enjoy working with individuals from various cultural backgrounds, and have extensive experience working with other BIPOC individuals, with a special focus on Asian/South Asian clients and first-generation Americans/children of immigrants.
My Background and Approach
I believe that the therapeutic bond between client and therapist can be the basis for true healing. Since 2013, I have attentively and compassionately guided clients toward a higher sense of fulfillment, well-being, and overall functioning . I use integrative clinical approaches tailored to your specific needs in order to partner with you to create positive change across areas in your life. Depending on the client, these approaches may include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), empowerment-based work, narrative therapy, person-centered care, motivational interviewing, and humanistic psychology. Through our therapeutic relationship, you will gain personal insight, identify and change problematic patterns, and use deepened self-awareness to improve your relationship with yourself and others.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I realize that many of these therapist bios and profiles may sound similar and that the process of searching for a therapist can be daunting and overwhelming at times. Therefore, I like to make myself available for a free initial consultation, to answer any questions you may have and to provide you with a sense of how our work together may feel.
