About My Clients
I enjoy working with couples and I am PACT Level 1 Trained. Our Primary Attachments have the potential to be the most transformative as well as the most painful, however, I enjoy helping folks develop and maintain long-lasting loving partnerships. I have also worked with Eating Disorders, Substance Abuse and Adolescent behavioral problems.
My Background and Approach
My approach borrows from various models. In couples work I use a Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) and I am trauma informed. Early influences included 12-step, family systems and DBT frameworks. Over the years, I have worked in all types of settings, inpatient, outpatient, IOP and private practice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I personally believe that we all have the potential to grow and connect with our true nature. I've been influenced by many experiences with the people I've met both personally and professionally. I am a mother of two beautiful daughters and two beautiful step children. I live in Colorado and love being outside enjoying the weather; biking, running, hiking or working in the garden. I feel fortunate to be a counselor and have never regretted the decision to spend my life supporting others through their most difficult times.
