I’m particularly passionate about working with adolescents and young adults struggling with eating disorders, self-injurious behaviors, suicidality, and trauma. I also have considerable experience working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. My Background and Approach
While I have an eclectic approach to therapy, it always involves increasing client insight regarding ineffective or undesired behaviors while simultaneously assisting in the development of more adaptive strategies. Regardless of the treatment modality, I believe that empathy, empowerment, and the therapeutic relationship are at the heart of assisting clients in finding their own solutions and strategies to manage and address challenges with which they are faced.
