About My Clients

My clients are complex humans who are working to make sense of themselves and others in a complex world. They also tend to be sensitive, creative, intelligent and highly motivated for change. Many of my clients are well-versed in various therapeutic modalities and have been searching for a way to integrate what they are learning in a more body-oriented or somatic approach.

My Background and Approach

I use a trauma-informed approach rooted in mindfulness, somatics, attachment and neuroscience. What this means is that we'll work to understand and work through what's not working by looking at you as a whole person - your experiences, your lineage, your physiology, your goals, your dreams, your heartaches, your successes. From this lens, I offer a creative synthesis of tools including somatic interventions, mindfulness practices, and other evidence-based techniques.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I strive to offer a brave and affirming space, and am committed to my own inner work especially regarding the intersection of well-being and questions of oppression, privilege and social justice. I do not accept insurance. In my efforts to make my services more available to people, I do reserve a number of sliding scale spots in my schedule. Please reach out for details.
