About My Clients
I work best with thoughtful, high-functioning adults who feel stuck despite insight. Many struggle with anxiety, OCD, health anxiety, trauma, people-pleasing, shame, or difficulty setting boundaries, often rooted in emotionally invalidating or enmeshed family dynamics. If you overthink, feel responsible for others’ emotions, or want to heal attachment wounds and build emotional regulation, confidence, and healthier relationships, you may be a good fit.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with advanced training in EMDR, trauma-informed therapy, CBT, DBT, and attachment-based approaches. I specialize in working with anxiety, OCD, health anxiety, trauma, relational wounds, and family-of-origin issues. My work focuses on helping clients understand how past experiences shaped their nervous system and patterns, while actively supporting them in creating change through emotional regulation, boundary-setting, and new ways of responding. Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and practical. Insight and compassion are important, but so is building skills and taking steps toward the life you want.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where people feel deeply seen, respected, and emotionally safe while also being gently challenged to grow. My work is grounded in an attachment and nervous-system lens, with a strong emphasis on authenticity, self-compassion, and personal responsibility. I am inclusive and committed to creating a trauma-informed space for clients of all identities and backgrounds. I value honesty, emotional attunement, and helping people move out of survival mode and into a life guided by clarity, connection, and choice rather than fear or old conditioning.
