About My Clients

Parenting, co-parenting & blended families post divorce can be overwhelming causing anxiety & depression. I help children, adolescents, & adults struggling through life-changes & trauma. I guide my clients towards cultivating self-compassion, & self-acceptance. As a board certified autism specialist, I work with neurodivergent individuals & their family supporting them holistically by collaborating with school teams & other professionals as well as teach how food & nutrition affects mood.

My Background and Approach

As a mindful psychotherapist, I approach sessions with a heartfelt commitment to being fully present, fostering an environment of attentive openness & acceptance. My clients feel supported & often share a weight has been lifted off them, feeling more peaceful, & confident. I use a holistic, integrative approach, considering the whole person, & the interconnectedness of the mind, body & spirit. I uniquely tailor sessions blending evidence-based therapies that include mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapies & psychodynamic principles complimented with food mood psychology, which is inspired by functional medicine. This technique not only addresses current challenges but also the root causes for deep healing. I specialize in mindfulness and cognitive behavioral interventions, like ACT & DBT to address a wide variety of challenges. For fast results, I love motivational interviewing & blend it in my approach to instantly boost & uplift my client's self-esteem.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Since childhood I’ve been passionate about human connection, social justice, nature, & food. Yes, food. It all began with food. I could express my nurturing side & connect to others through cooking, which started early for me at age 10. After losing my parents early on to chronic illness, then having 2 beautiful girls, & going through a divorce, I thought to myself..."I don't want my girls to go through the pain I did!" I wanted to be around for them at each milestone that my parents didn't make it to. I was determined to prioritize my physical & mental health for longevity and a better quality of life. I began a deep dive 15 years ago into learning about functional medicine, specifically exploring how food can holistically improve mood by addressing the “root causes” of mental health challenges. Symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, & autism can all improve with food nutrition for mind-body healing. My love of food led me to holistic healing that I can help others with.
