About My Clients
My past experiences have included working with adolescents, teens, young adults, LGBTQ+, Veterans, and incarcerated individuals. I am specialized in a variety of areas including (but not limited to): grief, trauma, depression, suicidal ideations, self-injurious behavior, anxiety, ADHD, and low self-esteem. I have also worked in different settings including private practice, non-profit organizations, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, ER's, and county jails.

Welcome! My name is Shelby, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the Owner of Intuitive Mind and Body Counseling. I am also a certified Yoga teacher. I have been advocating in the field of mental health for almost a decade, I also share the lived experiences that depression and anxiety can have when we experience loss or trauma. My experience includes working with adolescents, teens, young adults, LGBTQ+, Veterans, and incarcerated individuals.
