About My Clients
Hello! My name is Shaun Weitzel and I am a pre-licensed therapist who enjoys working with clients to provide hope and peace in some of the most difficult of circumstances. My goal is to provide a safe place for clients to feel like they are heard, understood, and loved while working towards solutions to the problems they face.
My Background and Approach
I have experience working with clients who struggle with anxiety/depression, trauma, addiction, spirituality, multicultural issues, and more. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy and use evidence-based treatment approaches. I am a licensed gospel minister and enjoy providing help to others who struggle with their faith.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Each presenting problem is unique to the person it affects and knowing who you are as an individual is just as important as the obstacle in front of us. Together we can explore ways in which you can grow and heal, on your journey to a fulfilled life. Healing often occurs in the relationship formed between both the therapist and client, and it is my hope that you would consider letting me walk with you through the challenges that lie ahead.
