About My Clients
Clients that I have the honor to support in their journey are a range of identities and experiences and may identify as: Southeast Asian, Filipinx, queer, trans, non-binary, and gender-expansive. I work with clients who seek to explore and expand in life transitions, identity development, child of immigrant/refugee experiences, and generational trauma.
My Background and Approach
My professional and personal journeys inform me how to have a person-centered and community-oriented approach to healing. I have a spectrum of experiences working for K-12 schools, community mental health, and San Diego State University. As a first generation student and child of refugees/immigrants, I empower my clients to trailblaze pathways that honor their authentic selves. I hold a kaleidoscope perspective to extend an opportunity for us to co-create safety for the intricacies and complexities of who you are. My hope is to help you feel seen within a world that can make us feel invisible or tries to erase our cultural identities. I am here to honor all versions and intersectionalities of your experiences to support the evolution you desire.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is so courageous to be human, especially for BIPOC, queer, trans, and gender expansive folx. The freedom to be or express ourselves can feel impossible. The big emotions with life transitions and internal crises can be overwhelming. The pressures of family and cultural expectations can make you feel lost or inadequate. The confusion of answering existential questions: “Who am I?” or “Why am I like this?” can be a never ending spiral. We are not meant to navigate our humanness alone. Together, we can hold the tenderness and expansion of life.
