About My Clients
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck? Navigating chronic illness, trauma, addiction, grief, or major life changes can feel incredibly isolating—but you absolutely don’t have to do it alone. Reaching out can feel hard, especially when life feels heavy—but you deserve a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. I specialize in supporting adults managing stress, health concerns, grief, trauma, life transitions, and behavior patterns that affect daily life.
My Background and Approach
My work is deeply rooted in evidence-based practices and delivered with a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed lens. In our work together, we''ll explore your concerns, goals, strengths, supports, and barriers. Our work will focus on building insight and practical tools for healing, and we’ll create a plan that fits your needs and values and supports meaningful change. With a background in integrated behavioral health, I’ve worked closely with medical teams, uniquely positioning me to support clients managing both physical and emotional health challenges. I utilize an integrated therapeutic approach, primarily drawing from the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) framework. I also integrate specialized tools from CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing, always tailoring our work to your unique needs. If you’re going through a difficult time, know that healing and change is possible. You don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to support you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m a South Asian immigrant, former engineer, and now a licensed psychotherapist. My own journey—navigating cultural stigma, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions—shaped my deep belief in the power of healing, especially when it’s hard to ask for help. I value resilience, community care, and making mental health accessible across cultures. I now dedicate my work to supporting adults navigating physical health challenges, mental health concerns, substance use, and the often-complex overlap between them—including associated grief, trauma, and loss. I care deeply about serving those who’ve had to manage alone or developed self-defeating patterns just to get by. I bring warmth, openness, and curiosity to every session, and I welcome clients of all identities. I support efforts that promote equity in health care and reduce stigma around mental illness and addiction in marginalized communities. I’m committed to creating a space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered.
