About My Clients

It's courageous to reach out when you realize that your current ways of being aren't helpful, leading you away from who you naturally are. The people I work with learn how to access their inner wisdom so they have the tools to build a wholesome connection with the body, mind, and soul. If you have a history of trauma, experience clinical depression or emotional distress, overthink, overachieve as a way to "earn" love, or see through a fear-based lens, I'm here to help you help yourself ˖°

My Background and Approach

My approach combines traditional talk therapy, life and wellness coaching, and mindfulness-based practices. I started teaching yoga in 2014 and since then, I've been an advocate for the mind-body connection. My practice evolved from a meditation, yoga, and reiki studio (2017-2019) to holistic psychotherapy after completing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021. Modalities such as inner child work, heart-centered hypnotherapy, and EMDR can be incorporated during the therapeutic process. With a background in kinesiology, I specialize in somatic therapy and energy psychology. I'm a lifelong learner of integrative mental health and address symptoms with kindness, accountability, and compassion. I'm in school for Traditional Chinese Medicine - Acupuncture and Herbology to expand my expertise in energetics and holistic health. I work collaboratively with individuals and couples to best meet their wellness needs so they feel supported throughout their healing journey.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Inspired by nature, I believe in connecting to one's ancestral roots. The hummingbird also inspires me because its spirit reminds me to pause and receive nourishment from the sweet nectar of life, even amid trials and challenges, a nourishment that sustains all life. I'm fascinated by the concept of the "Warrior's heart" because life events, at times, could harden an individual which is a normal reaction to trauma. With a Warrior's heart, we learn how to approach relationships free of walls yet fully protected due to a strong foundation of inner wisdom and self-trust. I believe we are natural alchemists when we are in tune with our emotions, move through seasons or change with an internal locus of control, and understand how to integrate life lessons into our relationships (with the self, others, and the world) in a way that keeps us intact with an abundant source of self-love. One of my favorite yoga philosophies is the concept that there is a level of the heart that remains whole.
