About My Clients
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, burnout, stress, and life transitions, as well as couples seeking stronger communication, deeper connection, and healthier ways of resolving conflict. My clients are motivated to grow, ready to move beyond coping, and open to creating lasting change in their lives and relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical social worker and the founder of Forge & Form Therapy. My work blends a range of modalities, tailored to each client, though I lean toward a Gestalt orientation that emphasizes awareness, presence, and authentic connection. I believe therapy should go beyond comfort—it’s in the honest, sometimes uncomfortable work that the greatest gains are made. Whether with individuals or couples, I balance compassion with directness, helping clients uncover patterns, face challenges, and move toward clarity, resilience, and meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be both supportive and transformative. I value authenticity, equity, and curiosity, and I hold deep respect for the dignity and worth of every client. I see discomfort not as something to avoid, but as a doorway to meaningful growth—because real change often requires courage and vulnerability. I am committed to inclusivity, affirming LGBTQ+ identities and supporting movements that foster justice and belonging. I believe resilience is forged through honest reflection, and that relationships—whether with ourselves, our partners, or our communities—are the most powerful context for healing and growth.
