About My Clients

You've done some work on yourself — maybe years of it — but something still feels stuck. Old patterns keep running the show. You might be carrying complex trauma or CPTSD, attachment wounds that shape every relationship, or a deep disconnection from who you really are. You may be curious about Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, or looking for a therapist who understands dissociation, somatic experience, and the spiritual dimensions of healing. If you're ready for depth, we might be a good fit.

My Background and Approach

I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-R) with nearly two decades of experience specializing in trauma, dissociation, and attachment. I'm an EMDRIA-approved EMDR therapist and consultant, and I cofounded the Buffalo EMDR Training Institute. My KAP training comes through the Polaris Insight Center in San Francisco. KAP is the heart of my work — therapist-led, spiritually integrated sessions where clients safely access expanded states of awareness to process what talk therapy alone often can't reach. Clients with complex PTSD, dissociative patterns, and deep attachment wounds often find KAP opens doors that felt permanently closed. I also draw from somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (parts work), ACT, Buddhist psychology, and contemplative practice. Every modality serves the same aim: helping you reconnect with who you actually are beneath the layers of trauma, conditioning, and protection. I also mentor therapists in integrative trauma and psychedelic-assisted approaches.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My spirituality is eclectic, guided by pragmatism rather than dogma. I'm rooted in Vajrayana Buddhist and somatic meditation traditions, and also draw from shamanic practice, Sufi wisdom, and other contemplative paths. I orient around the Bodhisattva vow: showing up for the liberation of all beings. I identify as a psychonaut — someone who explores consciousness through disciplined practice including meditation, breathwork, and psychedelic medicines. This isn't recreational; it's ancient, intentional inner work that contemplatives have engaged across cultures for millennia. It informs my ability to guide clients through non-ordinary states with presence. I'm affirming of LGBTQ+ communities and committed to racial justice in clinical practice and training. Healing is a collective endeavor — which is why I built Samadhi Healing Collective as a community of practitioners. I support psychedelic integration and advocate for thoughtful inclusion of these medicines in mental health care.
