About My Clients
I work with individuals, couples, and partnerships, and I have a particular focus on adults navigating relationship issues, life transitions, and the lasting effects of emotionally immature or distant parenting. I also welcome LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, neurodivergent and highly sensitive folks, and fellow helping professionals, including teachers, therapists, and healthcare workers, who carry the weight of stress and compassion fatigue.
My Background and Approach
My practice draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, all rooted in that same attachment-based understanding of how we grow, connect, and heal. I integrate somatic exercises and mindfulness based stress reduction into my talk therapy. I approach my work with genuine compassion and a relatable style, and I'm not afraid to bring in some humor along the way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe you already have the strength to make real change in your life. My job is to walk alongside you as you do it. I see emotions as meaningful signals worth getting curious about, not problems to eliminate. And I believe healing happens in relationship, including the one we build in the therapy room itself, a space where you can explore old patterns, reconnect with your own needs, and find your way toward secure, fulfilling connection.
