About My Clients
I specialize in couples therapy using the Gottman Method, helping partners reconnect and strengthen their bond. I work with couples raising young kids, preparing for a family, or feeling distant during major transitions. My background includes working with military couples, neurodivergent partners and parents (ADHD/ASD), trauma histories, and recovery. I offer a structured, supportive space to rebuild trust and grow together.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed therapist, mom of teens, and Navy wife married for over 25 years. I’ve raised a family through international moves, long deployments, and seasons of stress that stretched every part of my life and partnership. These lived experiences shape my work with couples and individuals navigating relational strain, parenting, neurodivergence, and recovery. I specialize in relationship therapy using the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). My approach is warm, direct, and grounded in evidence-based tools. I offer structured assessments like the Gottman Relationship Checkup and optional resources like the Relationship Builder to support meaningful change. I offer a space to slow down, feel seen, and move forward with more clarity and connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healthy relationships are central to well-being. In couples therapy, I don’t take sides. I work with both partners to create space for growth, accountability, and meaningful change. Therapy should support each person’s voice and autonomy while strengthening the partnership. My work is rooted in integrity, curiosity, and creativity. I value honesty, humor, and the belief that even small shifts can have a profound effect.
