About My Clients
I pride myself in creating a safe and playful holding space for clients to feel ready to explore experiences and feelings at their own pace. My specialties include child development, parent-child relationships, anxiety and depression, emerging adulthood, psychoeducation, play therapy, trauma and PTSD, and Autism and developmental delays. No matter what you’re struggling with, there’s relief through positive relationships with someone who really understands.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a specialization in mental health and clinical concentration in children and families. I also have a masters of science in child development from Erikson Institute. I have experience working with very young children to adolescents, families, individuals, couples, parents, and emerging adults. My career journey has taken me to intensive outpatient programs, non-profits, developmental intervention agencies, therapeutic pre and day schools, childcare, and long and short term psychotherapy treatment, all of which has helped shape me into the most well-rounded, insightful, and understanding clinician for you and your family. I pride myself in creating a comfortable, safe, and playful space to help clients take their next steps while viewing each client as a unique individual.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that good things happen through good relationships and that the therapeutic relationship is key in making sustainable progress. There is healing through attachment, play, and positive relationships.
