About My Clients
My clients are often the ones everyone else depends on:helpers, caregivers, and high-achievers who are used to holding it all together. I frequently work with active duty service members, veterans, first responders, and women who overfunction in relationships, families, or careers. Many of my clients are deeply compassionate, but struggle to extend that same care to themselves. They may appear capable on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted.
My Background and Approach
In collaboration with my clients, we create a safe therapeutic space where they can slow down, process what they have been carrying, and learn healthier ways to cope without losing themselves in the process. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients feel seen, understood and, and not judged. As an EMDRIA Certified therapist, I take into account your attachment history, nervous system responses, past traumas, and present struggles to help gain a clear direction and focus on your treatment plan. EMDR reprocessing will become part of our work once we have collaborated on the parts of your story that feel most relevant to your presenting concerns. My approach is warm, attuned, and honest.
