Do you ever feel like 2022 sucks more than 2020 did? The amount of grief and loss that was triggered by the pandemic has had such a profound and lasting impact on so many of us. I know how hard it is to feel stuck or lost in life, and I know how it feels to have a therapist that truly cares and allows you to feel seen and heard. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, self-esteem and confidence issues, life transitions and stressors, and relationship problems.
My Background and Approach
I truly want to help you live a more balanced and fulfilled life. My hope is to create a warm and judgment-free space for you to really feel safe shedding some the emotional weight you’ve been carrying. We will work together to create a treatment plan that’s tailored to your specific needs and goals. If you’re reading this, that means you’ve started the daunting process of trying to find a therapist and you're ready for a change. I have been on both sides of the therapy room and know how important the therapeutic relationship is to your healing. Sessions with me include empathy, validation, and humor. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy can dramatically change our lives for the better. I believe that mental health services should be accessible to all people. I even believe that you're often a better therapist if you've had personal experiences in therapy. I think that if more people accepted and understood the value of mental health that we wouldn't have as many of the problems that our society faces today. I strongly align with working class families and do not believe that therapy should be a luxury service for only the elite and wealthy. I believe in equal access and care to all people.
