About My Clients
I am currently accepting new adult and adolescent clients. My clients are typically individuals that have experienced trauma, and are working on integrating and processing those experiences. I also have experience treating individuals managing acute and chronic anxiety and depression. As a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I enjoy working with other Queer individuals--especially young people looking to find comfort and safety in their identity. Additionally, I am a HAES aligned.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is relational, warm, and collaborative. I utilize both "top down" approaches (like CBT and DBT) and "bottom up" approaches (mindfulness, somatic techniques). I also offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). We will start with where YOU are at and establish what is the best approach for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a social worker I work with my clients from a lens informed by social justice. I am a member of the LGBTQ community and particularly care about human rights (BLM, Trans rights, women's rights, rights of the worker, etc).
