About My Clients
You’re self-aware, capable, and used to holding it together for everyone else, but internally, you may feel anxious, emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns, constantly overthinking, or exhausted from carrying so much for so long. Many of my clients struggle with perfectionism, people-pleasing, low self-worth, trauma, ADHD, burnout, or feeling disconnected from themselves despite appearing “fine” on the outside. I work best with adults who are ready for deeper healing.
My Background and Approach
I have over 16 years of experience working across outpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment settings. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, ADHD, relationship issues, and emotional regulation, and I use evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, DBT, parts work, and attachment-focused therapy. My approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented, but also practical and action-focused. Many of the clients I work with have spent years understanding their patterns intellectually while still feeling emotionally stuck. Together, we work to understand not just what is happening, but why your nervous system continues to respond the way it does. I help clients move beyond survival mode, self-criticism, overthinking, emotional shutdown, and unhealthy relational dynamics toward greater confidence, clarity, emotional stability, and self-trust. Therapy with me is not about judgment or perfection. It’s about creating meaningful, lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be both emotionally supportive and grounded in evidence-based treatment. While insight and self-awareness are important, real change often requires understanding how trauma, attachment experiences, learned patterns, and nervous system responses continue to affect emotions, relationships, and behavior in the present. My style is warm, direct, collaborative, and grounded in approaches that are backed by research, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and attachment-focused work. I value authenticity, curiosity, humor, and creating a space that feels human rather than overly clinical or judgmental. I’m passionate about helping clients better understand the connection between the brain, nervous system, emotions, and behavior so therapy feels meaningful, practical, and capable of creating lasting change rather than just temporary relief.
