Challenging times can make it difficult for us to see and acknowledge our own strengths. It helps to have an objective observer to provide perspective when life feels overwhelming.
My Background and Approach
I am currently offering Ecotherapy/ Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in addition to telehealth services. This form of therapy is done in a natural setting, such as a park or hiking trail. If you are interested in Ecotherapy please send a message and we can talk more about options and availability. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities to help you reach your goals. I draw from a variety of theories because I know that there is no one size fits all approach. I often utilize Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Theory, and Self-Compassion models. It is important to be aware of a variety of tools, paths, and resources available to you on your journey towards wellness. This is why I also value your feedback as we work together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the incredible power of human potential and resilience. It is an honor for me to see the lives of others improve in profound and meaningful ways. I know we are all capable of positive change and transformation, we just have to find the right tools and hold some space for hope. Not only can we bounce back from life challenges, but we can bounce back stronger and healthier than ever. We can learn to thrive. This isn't just a personal belief I hold, post-traumatic growth is real and backed by research. Hope is powerful- And, there is a reason for hope, even during the darkest of times.
