About My Clients
My clients are a mix of all the best people in the world. Some of my clients are navigating brief issues in their lives, and some are healing past painful experiences. Most of my clients are individuals, but some are couples and families that need support to navigate some of the issues that are causing them pain in their lives. It is such a joy to watch my clients blossom and become their best selves.
My Background and Approach
I use a real approach to therapy. I love to dig in with clients and free them from some of these struggles they are encountering as they walk through life. I am a certified trauma professional as well as a licensed clinical social worker. I use Brainspotting, DBT, CBT, and SF-BT the most with my clients. I am always learning new techniques and approaches to use with my clients. I am very passionate about utilizing a client-led approach. I encourage my clients to communicate with me about what they feel is working and what is not working as we work together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a forward thinking advocate for both myself and my clients. I am feminist and a member of the LGBTQIA community. I believe that animals are essential for survival. I am a trauma survivor who understands firsthand the devastating impact of trauma on our sense of well-being. I am very realistic and use realistic approaches to my life.
