About My Clients

You want to be happier and more carefree like you used to be but there is just so much going on and it is taking all of your energy. Perhaps your job is creating a lot of stress, your chronic pain is causing some days to feel unbearable, your teen is always annoyed with you, or your child is having major meltdowns and you don't know what to do. My Background and Approach
As your therapist, I will help you work through all of these stressors so that you can be the version of you that you want to be. I use an integrative approach to therapy that includes several cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness techniques, and play therapy (when appropriate). I am solution-focused and like to provide resources and material in between sessions so that the learning and growth continue outside of my office. Our focus in therapy will be on you (or your child) and what your goals are while working with me. I will help you to gain clarity, learn new tools for managing anxiety, enhance your parenting skills, develop new coping strategies, and increase your confidence in yourself. I offer this all in either in-person counseling sessions or in online, video sessions through a secure, compliant platform. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My experience in life and in counseling has taught me that we are exactly who we should be, but it is up to us to be the best version of ourselves. We are all unique individuals and should not be just like everyone else we know. Our differences are what make us special. I believe that we are all good people at heart but sometimes life can throw challenges our way that can impact who we become. It is through these challenges that we are tested but with the right support, we can overcome them and change the course of our future. I am avid believer in equality for all and feel that everyone has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, regardless of their age, gender, size, love preference, disability, language, etc. I am here to help people in any way that I can and look forward to working with you! In case you were wondering, when I am not practicing therapy, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family and 2 dogs!
