About My Clients

Do you struggle with feeling overwhelmed, controlled by your emotions, or negative past experiences? Are you currently or in the past dealt with circumstances beyond your control that you struggle with knowing how to navigate? I can understand those feelings well. As humans, we are not always equipped with the knowledge, understanding, and tools to manage every situation. Life is not easy, and my goal is to help you find the contentment, peace, and freedom you deserve. I am here to help.

My Background and Approach

I worked diligently to provide the best quality of services I can. The therapy I offer is evidenced based with post-graduate training and continued education. I have worked as a therapist helping individuals dealing with a wide range of personal challenges ranging from all forms of addictions, traumatic life events, abuse, and life transitions. I use evidenced-based interventions that are determined by your needs and desires for therapy. My focus is on you and what you hope to achieve. I am trained in EMDR, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, as well as stress-reduction techniques. I sought extensive training to become a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional: Level II to work with individuals struggling with complex trauma. I am also a Qualified Supervisor helping other clinicians become the best service providers they can be. I work collaboratively with my clients encouraging openness, safety, and commitment to helping them identify and define what path they wish for their journey.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that we all have untapped knowledge, strength, and potential to overcome any obstacle that has been placed before us. We just may not know how to access it. So many people experience hardships they never thought they would overcome, but with support and guidance, they could. At age 11, I was diagnosed with cancer two months after losing my father. Two and a half years after my initial diagnosis, my cancer returned. I never thought I could get through it until I met caring and compassionate people that made me believe I could. I was 16 when I met the first therapist that helped me grieve for my father, come to terms with my illness, and accept myself for who I am. I believe in humanity and the innate good in all of us. We all strive to do our best with what we are given. I believe in the diversity of people and opinions. We are all on this Earth together, doing the best we can. I love helping others. Let me help you!
