About My Clients

I work best with couples who feel stuck in repeating conflict, disconnection, or lingering resentment, but still want the relationship to work. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals navigating stress and emotional distance. They’re motivated for change, open to honest conversations, and ready to break unhealthy cycles together.

My Background and Approach

I’m a couples therapist focused on helping partners move out of stuck patterns and into more secure, connected relationships. My work is grounded in research-based approaches like the Gottman Method, while also being tailored to the unique dynamics of each couple. I focus on helping you understand the cycle you’re caught in, rather than placing blame on either partner. In sessions, I’m active, direct, and won’t just sit back and observe. I help guide conversations, slow things down, and teach practical tools you can actually use outside of therapy. My goal is to create a space where both partners feel heard, challenged, and supported as you rebuild trust, improve communication, and create a relationship that feels better day-to-day.

My Values as a Therapist

I value authenticity, curiosity, and respect in the therapy room. I believe change happens when people feel safe enough to be honest, both with me and with themselves, so I prioritize creating a space that is nonjudgmental, direct, and grounded in real connection. I approach therapy collaboratively, trusting that clients are the experts on their own lives while offering structure, insight, and evidence-based tools to help them move forward. I value accountability alongside compassion, growth often requires both. I’m especially committed to helping clients understand patterns beneath the surface, so they can create lasting change rather than temporary relief. Above all, I believe therapy should be practical, meaningful, and deeply human.
