I see teens and adults who struggle with a variety of life's challenges including anxiety, panic, chronic illness, diabetes, self-esteem, grief, adulting, career transitions, life transitions, pregnancy, fertility, post partum, depression, parenting, relationships and careers.
My Background and Approach
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Level II (CCTP-II), I have extensive training in treating those with PTSD and C-PTSD. My experience working in healthcare settings, the justice system, schools & private practices, has given me an appreciation for life's greatest challenges. I make every effort to understand clients' perspectives, build confidence, lower anxiety, and offer support, hope and quality of life. I do this in a nonjudgmental, empowering and supportive environment. I mostly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapies to help clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am committed to providing culturally competent care and am an LGBTQ+ ally. I help clients build insight, and encourage self compassion and mindfulness to improve wellness.
