About My Clients
You are worth knowing, deeply and fully. There’s more than enough space for you. You have a purpose for your life, and there is a reason you’re here. You may be struggling to see it right now. Maybe you feel like you’ve tried everything, sought wise counsel, read all the books, and are at the end of your rope.
My Background and Approach
I’ve been there too. I felt like I’d tried everything I knew to do, and it still wasn’t good enough. Why was I depressed? Why was I anxious? Why was I struggling in my relationships? I felt like I had “no right” to struggle in these ways because I’d been so blessed and had everything I needed. Therapy helped me finally get to the root of my problems and “stuckness” and see real change in my life, both inside my mind and within my relationships. I became a therapist because I believe the same is possible for you, and I consider it an honor to partner with you on your unique journey. It’s not easy, and it's not for everyone. It will cost you—the way you see things, the stories you’ve told, and the survival strategies you’ve held onto. But I believe it's also the most rewarding work you'll ever do. If you’d like to get started, schedule a free 15-minute consult to meet with me.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
What gives me identity and purpose is my apprenticeship to Jesus Christ—knowing Him, loving Him, and following His way. As part of following His way, I seek to meet every client where they are in their spiritual path—whether you do not want to discuss spirituality, you're curious, you have experienced religious trauma or abuse, or you want Scripture and prayer incorporated into your sessions. I am also a huge advocate of 12-Step Recovery programs and have come to believe that both recovery and therapy are lifestyle choices, not simply one-time events. If you are part of a 12-Step program, I speak that language and would be honored to walk beside you on your recovery journey.
