About My Clients
The patients I work with have experienced a traumatic event or have a complex trauma history. They may be experiencing symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder. This might include; nightmares, flashbacks, intrusive thoughts, irritability, or anxiety. These patients deserve a safe space to work through their traumatic experiences. It is my goal to help patients reduce their trauma symptoms and heal.
My Background and Approach
EMDR is an integral part of my work. EMDR has been shown to improve trauma symptoms significantly. So many of my patients have had great success with this treatment. I am happy to talk with you to see if this would be a good fit for you. I also use supportive counseling, cognitive behavioral techniques, motivational interviewing, and more.
