I am rooted in attachment theory and often utilize the foundational relationships around you to support you. I've worked with attachment approaches through adoptees and through parent-child relationship coaching or play therapy.

If depression lingers after the baby blues, it may be postpartum depression or anxiety. It is not uncommon to struggle after a baby due to factors like hormones, support systems, number of children in the home, etc. I work to utilize your strengths to reduce depression.

5 to 7 out fo 10 women experience postpartum anxiety or depression. I am a certified perinatal mental health therapist. My knowledge and own expertise with motherhood fuels my passion for women, women's issues and supporting the parent--child relationship.

I utilize IFS as a way to understand the different parts of you that make you who are you. You aren't all "anxious" - theres a part of you that it anxious, and why? Thats where I can help you understand the different parents.

I believe that trauma and stress are stored in the body. We may not have a particular memory of an expereience but our bodies often store that feeling in the body - which may manifest as anxiety for example, until it is processed.
